Why we walk, talk, and gather.

ABOUT US

We find deep joy in helping people connect with what matters—what stirs the heart, grounds the spirit, and brings meaning to the moment. Across many backgrounds—as coaches, creatives, performers, and community-builders—we’ve witnessed how intentional conversation can open space for clarity, inspiration, and forward movement.

Travel & Talk brings these experiences together to create spaces for reflection and exploration. Whether through Walk & Talk sessions along the coast, retreats, Table Talk gatherings, or virtual coaching, we offer a range of ways to pause, tune in, and move toward what’s next with more intention.

Like a good song or work of art, our work is guided by two principles: to honestly express what’s present, and to make space for others to find their own meaning within it. Our hope is that Travel & Talk gives you a way in—a way through, a way around, a way forward—whatever path you’re on.

Life is a journey. We hope to be part of yours!

About Deb Montgomery

Founder & Coach

I approach coaching with curiosity, creativity, and a deep respect for the complexity of being human. My work is shaped by years of experience in relational support, a grounding in a love of metaphor and meaning-making. I believe in the power of intentional conversation to open up clarity, shift perspective, and support people in moving toward the life they’re longing for.

With a background in the arts, I often invite creative reflection—writing, movement, or making—as ways to explore what words alone can’t always reach. My coaching style is thoughtful, heart-centered, and spacious. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me writing music and poetry or wandering the coastal beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
